How it works
- Import your PDF. Use “Import” in the studio or drag the file onto the editor. Up to 15 MB.
- Review the text. It lands in the editor; the first 5,000 characters fit in one take. Delete headers, footers or footnotes you don’t want read aloud.
- Pick a voice and generate. Download the MP3, then import the next section if the document is longer.
What doesn’t work (and what to do)
- Scanned or photographed PDFs have no text layer. Run OCR first.
- Tables and multi-column layouts often extract out of visual order. Tidy the text in the editor before generating.
- Files over 15 MB — split the PDF, or copy the chapter you need.
Page numbers on their own line are removed automatically during import.
Privacy
Your PDF isn’t kept. It’s read during the upload request, the text is returned to your browser, and the file is discarded. The finished audio is saved in your own browser, not on our server.
