What doesn't work
- Legacy .doc files — only the modern .docx format is supported. Re-save as .docx first if needed.
- Password-protected documents — remove protection before uploading.
- Documents over 15 MB or over 5,000 characters per generation — split large ones into sections.
- Embedded tables and complex formatting — text extracts, but visual layout (columns, tables) isn't preserved in reading order.

Does it support .doc as well as .docx?

Can I convert a whole document at once?
Each generation covers up to 5,000 characters. Longer documents need multiple passes.
