Agreement
These Terms govern your use of wevolabs.com and its tools (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old, or use the Service with the permission of a parent or guardian.
The service
WevoLabs converts text into speech in your browser using third-party neural voices, and offers related tools such as document import, a multi-speaker studio and background-music mixing. There are no accounts and no paid plans. If we ever introduce paid features, their price and terms will be shown before you pay.
Your content
You keep all rights to the text and files you submit (“Your Content”). You give us a limited permission to process Your Content only to provide the Service — for example to send text to the speech service, return audio to you and keep short-lived caches as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for having the right to use Your Content.
Using the audio you generate
You may use audio you generate with WevoLabs for personal and commercial purposes — for example in videos, podcasts, courses or presentations — without attribution, provided you follow these Terms and the law. You are responsible for how the audio is used and for any disclosure that platforms you publish on require for synthetic or AI-generated media.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the Service to:
- impersonate a real person, or create audio intended to make people believe a real person said something they didn’t;
- commit fraud, phishing, scams or deceptive robocalls;
- produce content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that promotes violence;
- infringe anyone’s copyright, privacy or other rights;
- overload, scrape or automate requests to the Service, or try to bypass rate limits or security measures.
We may block access, without notice, to anyone who breaks these rules.
Availability and limits
The Service is free and provided as available. We set limits — such as 5,000 characters per generation and a number of requests per minute — to keep it usable for everyone, and we may change features, voices or limits at any time. Voices are supplied by a third-party provider and may change or become unavailable. Keep your own copies of audio you need; takes stored in your browser can be lost if browser data is cleared.
Our intellectual property
The WevoLabs name, logo, website design and written content belong to WevoLabs or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them except as allowed by law or with our written permission. Audio you generate is covered by Using the audio you generate above.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Synthesized speech can mispronounce words or misread text; review audio before relying on it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WevoLabs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or business, arising from your use of the Service. Where liability can’t be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service, which for the free Service is zero.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify WevoLabs against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of generated audio, or your breach of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties will first try to resolve disputes in good faith; otherwise the courts of India have jurisdiction, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
Changes
